Shenk & Rhodes - Original Music By Dusty Rhodes & David Shenk
These works are compositions that were recorded on a Yamaha™ Digital Mini-Disc 4-Track Recorder at Shag Nasty Studios in Highspire PA. These recordings feature just two people. There are layers and layers of sounds mixed down to what you hear. The drums were provided by a Yamaha™ Drum Machine, all bass and vocals were performed by Dusty Rhodes, and everything else you hear in addition to guitar - horns, saxes, strings, keyboards, African Blow Pipe (yes, a blow pipe) - is me playing a Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 Birds 10-Top through a Roland™ GR-1 Guitar Synthesizer recorded direct through a Line 6™ POD Recording Amp.
