I loved GigTracker T3E 3.0 and I just loaded 4.0 and I love the Alarm feature that you added. And the calculator feature is great too. I have turned on two of my friends that use the Palm OS to GigTracker Pro.
I am a pro player and it helps me keep track of my dates and miles much better than when I was using only using Excel. And it is in my pocket at all times.

Thanks for mailing the registration code. I hope to keep more professional records of my gigs using GigTracker Pro. Earlier I had also used the TinyByte version and appreciated it.
Just to give you an idea of the truly global breadth of your target audience, I'd like to tell you that I'm a budding part-time Pakistani musician/singer currently based in (the Pakistani capital) Islamabad. I sing/write/compose songs mostly in the (national Pakistani) Urdu language, of course. My currency would be the Pakistani Rupee (or 'Rs.', or 'PKR'), of course, but until a Rupee version of GigTracker Pro comes out, I'll make do with $$$'s instead!

Your program is very useful to me now. I never forget who owes me money, and I know I've forgotten a few in the past.
The other thing is I showed it to a guy who does freelance writing and he loved it and is going to use it. It's pretty useful for a lot of people.

As a musician who gets abused when I pull out my palm to mark down our next gig, I really have to get this. This will save tons of time creating stuff in the memo pad then running out of space and having to create another memo, rename the first one, etc. I've tried using Documents to Go to track this stuff, but while the Excel file looks great on the desktop, it looks like hell on the handheld ...
Thanks for the advice and information - I downloaded the demo after sending you the email, and showed it to the guys at the gig last night...and the one that rips me the worst said he may have to rethink his position on this "technical" stuff (I guess troubleshooting a PA system and parametric EQing to get the "ring" out of the room at a particular frequency isn't "technical" to him).

Thanks for your response, David. I ended up downloading and eventually buying the program. Thanks for creating it. I showed it to a bunch of studio and theatre musicians here in Los Angeles. Alot of us have PDAs these guys are interested. I'm going to use the "bands" section as types of recording or performances rather than names of bands (motion picture recording, CD recording, jingle) or a certain person I work for. Venues will simply be the studios or theatres I work at for these gigs.

You should consider marketing your product to the tons of union musicians through all the national locals, you could end up making a small fortune (if you haven't already). Even if you mined out their email addresses and web sites, to promote you product even more. I have not seen such specific music gig program such as yours, so I know there is a need.

I am a happy GigTracker user, however had an idea possibly for any more future updates. If you could find a way to have the gig date go straight into Datebook, that would really be great. As it is I use my Datebook program for all other personal events other than gigs and what I find is that I have to go back and forth from Datebook to GigTracker to coordinate dates.
I have another program that remembers birthdays, weddings, etc. and when I enter the date information there, it somehow goes straight into my Datebook which is great. Anyway, its just a suggestion. I love GigTracker Pro. It is one of the programs I use the most.

BTW I can see how musicians use the app for gigs. I am a consultant and use it to record future speaking and training gigs and the fees I am scheduled to earn from them - it helps gives me an idea of my earnings for the year. Do you have many people who use it like me?
